Gutter cleaning in Jacksonville, NC
There are two separate gutter jobs, and they are worth understanding before you book either one.
The first is clearing — removing leaves, pine straw and shingle grit from inside the trough so water actually reaches the downspout. On the coast, blocked gutters overflow against the fascia and siding, which causes rot long before anyone notices the gutter itself is full.
The second is the exterior face. Those vertical black stripes down the front of a gutter are often called tiger striping. They are a bonded film that a house wash does not remove, and they need a dedicated treatment applied to the gutter face itself.
We can do either or both. Most people want the inside cleared and, once they see the difference, the faces brightened at the same time.

Questions about gutter cleaning
How often should gutters be cleared around here?
It depends far more on tree cover than on calendar. A house under pine will need clearing more than once a year; an open lot may go well beyond that. If water sheets over the front edge during rain, it is overdue regardless of when it was last done.
Will a house wash clean the black stripes off my gutters?
No. Those stripes are an electrostatically bonded film of road film and oxidised material, and a general house wash rinse does not touch them. They need a specific treatment on the gutter face, which we quote as gutter brightening.
